The appealing use drugs natural root has driven requirement for standardization as per WHO guidelines. Objectives: main aim existing study was to formulate polyherbal gastroretentive capsules by using Carbopol 934 971P different concentration ranges get desired buoyancy rate. Materials Methods: prepared formulation characterized physico-chemical parameters pharmaceutical quality control tests. Standard procedures were used estimate organoleptic properties, extractive values, ash values crude formulations. Extraction carried out Soxhlation followed preliminary phytochemical evaluation HPTLC fingerprinting extracts. extracts formulated into a capsule assessed physical parameters. Results: assessment established presence flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, steroids, glycosides. Rf obtained from studies signified important phytoconstituents such Shogaols, 6-Gingerol, 8-Gingerol, Glycyrrhizin, Andrographolides, Marmelosin, Conessine. Percent Carr’s consolidation index ranging 8.111 ± 0.157 8.827 0.186, Hausner’s ratio between 1.088 0.002 1.097 0.002, angle repose below 30 are indicative excellent flow property granules.
